LUX Audience Award Screenings – « Close » by Lukas Dhont
The Luxembourg Liaison Office of the European Parliament will once again host the 2023 screenings of the five films nominated for this year’s LUX Audience Award in Luxembourg.
From 18 to 27 April, Luxembourg audiences will be able to discover key European films that are a celebration of European cinema in all its forms, and an expression of European values. The screenings will take place at Ciné Utopia at 19.00 and are free of charge. Two of them will be followed by debates.
All films will screen in their original language version with French and English subtitles.

Tue. 18.04. (7pm) – CLOSE by Lukas Dhont (BE, FR, NL)
Thu. 20.04. (7pm) – ALCARRÀS by Carla Simón (ES, IT) / Followed by a discussion with MEP Tilly Metz
Sat. 22.04. (7pm) – TRIANGLE OF SADNESS by Ruben Östlund (SE, DK, DE, FR…)
Tue. 25.04. (7pm) – WILL-O’-THE-WISP by João Pedro Rodrigues (PT, FR)
Thu. 27.04. (7pm) – BURNING DAYS by Emin Alper (TR, FR, DE…) / Followed by a discussion with Laurent Mignon, professor at Oxford University

The LUX Audience Award screenings in Luxembourg are organised by the Luxembourg Liaison Office of the European Parliament in collaboration with the European Commission representation in Luxembourg, CinEast Festival, Pierre Werner Institute & Creative Europe MEDIA Desk Luxembourg.
