Creative shifts – Empowering culture for sustainable living

This report is the result of the work on the ‘Green transition of the cultural and creative sectors’, carried out by the Open Method of Coordination (OMC) group of EU Member State experts during 2024 and 2025, as part of the EU Work Plan for Culture 2023–2026.

The group adopted a multilayered methodological approach, combining plenary sessions, expert input, thematic subgroups and targeted surveys to outline good practices, assess policy tools and formulate recommendations to support the green transition of the CCS across Europe.
