The report introduces the results of an Open Method of Coordination Group (OMC), commissioned to examine how to strengthen and promote the multiple roles of public libraries. It presents the key findings, best practices, and policy recommendations at local, national and European level and\u00a0shows how sustained investment in public libraries and their multiple roles delivers social, cultural and democratic returns.<\/p>\n
